Prairie lakes fair to good. Wickiup
reservoir poor. Upper Deschutes
and Little Deschutes rivers and
Crescent creek Just fair. Fishing

played this week-end. starting tiff

One tie and a couple of slugging
matches were served up yesterday
afternoon in the county girls' soft
ball league. In games played at
Altamont, the Sparkles and VFW
tied 7-7, the Patriot defeated the
Haablns 19-14 and Chtloquin slugged
the Merrill Teen-Ager 30-3.
The Chlloquin club and Patriots
lead the circuit with two wins and
no losses. Hasblns have 1-1, Sparkies
and VFW have one win and one
tie each and the Teen-Agers have
lost both their games.
