Mrs. R. P. O'Neill there.
The Loren Palmerton are still on their eastern trip. In a letter
to Klamath residents here. Mrs Palmerton mentioned Uiat the heat
in Chicago, where they are at present. U so severe that the only
thing that doesn't melt Is her nail polish.
Party time all summer In Klamath this season It seems! Dr. and
Mrs. John D. Merryman and Mr and Mrs. Stanley Miller entertained

Back again for a visit was Barbara Roskamp. Barbara and her
father. H. K. Roskamp. of Atherton. Calif, formerly of Klamath Palls,
drove to Klamath last week-end for the wedding of Betty Memll
and B1U Oanong. ,
Barbara, who 1 a houseguest of the Merrills, ha Just completed her
Junior year at the University of California.
Klamath people will be Interested to hear that Gene "Sonny
Olson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Olson, Is to be wed soon. The
Olson Uved here for many year before they moved to Portland.
Gene bride 1 to be Vlvume Odishaw, Eugene.
Gene graduated from the University of Oregon and he now plans
to work for hi Master. HI bride-to-be will be working on her Ph. D.
Mr and Mrs. Oeorge Proctor (Dot tie Ricks l visited last week with
her parent. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rlgg of Lakeshore drive. They also
visited with Mr. and Mrs. Arch Proctor, George parents, of Yreka.
formerly of Klamath Pall.
Before returning to Eugene, where Oeorge is attending the univer
sity, the two plan to make a motor trip to Canada.
