ty celebration sponsored by Merrill
merchants Is scheduled to get under
vay at 1 p.m. Monday, July 4. and
until 10 pjn. that evening there will
be fames and fun for everyone.
Following is the program: 1:30.

year. Hamaker said he hsd ac
cepted the appointment on condi
tion that all agencies accept budget

to make a vigorous campaign. Hi
said he will call a meeting of agency
representatives soon.
At the close of the session then
was general agreement that a fair
compromise had been reached.
Malcolm Epley, Chest president,
said:

a living allocation far the agencies. I
feeling that the public will want to I

will permit the agencies to wvll
effectively. At the same time, we j

truck collided early today, killing
one man and Injuring another. Four
cars of the train were derailed and
the locomotive overturned and burst

Mrs. Jill Ericsson, a nurse and a

him. Then they hit a gas main and
he was one of the men gassed. And
he's only been on the job a week
or two."
