present congress will enact any leg
islation to create a Columbia valley
authority.
Tha governor was back at his
desk today after telling congression
al committers why he doesn't like
tha present CVA bill.
Oovernor McKay made It clear
ha wouldn't oppose a CVA which
provided for control by tha people
of tha Northwest.
"But what I would really Ilka to

pact.
That would provide a tremendous
source of revenue for the stale.

beef cattle was a trow and costly task but Harris' wife
and their seven children backed his progressive planning.
The First National Bank of Princville aided in financing

couldn't find s job in 1933, so he obtained 105
acres of Iogged-o9 land near Molalla and

pluck attracted Marie Koltsch. She became
