The Eagles auxiliary held a regu
lar meeting Tuesday evening In the
lower FOE hall. After the session,
Uie auxiliary and aerie held a Joint
installation service In the upper
hall.
Drill teams from both groups con
ducted special ceremonies. Stella
Pcrseli was captain.
Outgoing and Incoming officers
were presented with corsages from
the lodge, and the past president's
pin was given to Peggy Long. Cos
tal Cochran Is new president of the
auxiliary. Bouquets were given to
both.
Mrs. Persell received a corsage In
honor of the first state chaplain.
She was elected to the state office
at a recent convention. Installing
officer for the auxiliary was Lola
Truax. for the aerie, M. L. Shep
herd. A program and refreshments clos
ed the meeting.
TULELAKE Mrs. Jim Ren ton
and Mrs. Arthur Martin entertained
at a prettily planned dessert which
turned out to be a surprise kitchen
shower Tuesday afternoon at the
Kenton home for Marge Larson.
Tables were centered with pansy
bouquets and miniature crepe paper
dplls In pastel shades with a white
one for the bride elect.
Places were marked for the honor
guest. Miss Larson, Mrs. Eldon Lar
