The annual grade school Instru
mental music festival I to be held
In Pelican court at the high school
till coming Friday evening at 8
p. m. Among the Individual Instru
mental group appearing on this
program Is the Junior high school
bund, the Junior high school or
chestra, and the Falrvlew band.
The apiiearance of the musical
organluillons will be followed by the
large massed student Instrumental
groups which Include the beginning
string orchestra, the beginners band
and the advanced band. Student
from all the grade schools partici
pate In these organization. The
final of the festival will be ths
playing by the Instrumentalists of
the grade school In two numbers.
"The Chorale" from the oratorio
"St. Paul," and "School Parade
March." Approximately 3W stu
dent from the grade schools will
participate In this festival.
These Instrumental!! are under
the direction of Jack O'Connor,
head of the string department, John
McManui, Freeman Yount, and
Myron Wheeler, of the bra and
woodwind department.
There 1 no charge for this
festival and a large crowd Is ex
pected to be on hand to hear the
result of the year's work from theso
student.
