CHICAGO, April 30 WP Wheat atarted off lower on the board of
trade today and never got back to previous closing price. A dribble
f wiling orders kept the market under mild pressure all day.
Reasons offered for the mark-down Included:
Profit-taking, light ahowers In Kansas and Nebraska, smaller gov
mment cash wheat purchases and a drop In the buying price, and
finally a feeling that the prospective railroad strike may be avoided.

Progress Days exposition were an
nounced today by the aviation com
mittee of the chamber of commerce,
after a survey of the business com
munity showed enthusiastic lnlfiv.it
The affair will be held at the
Klamath airport May 30 and 31.
The big double hangar at the field
will be an exhibit building for dis
plays of cars, trucks, tractors, Im
plements, boats, sporting goods,
building materials, airplanes, and
man)' other lines.
On May 31, a visiting troupe will
stage an air show at the airport
which will be the major entertain
ment feature of the exposition. On
May 30. local pilots under direction
of Bud Arnold will give an aviation
demonstration.
