streams tomorrow as the general
trout season for Oregon In 1048
opens, although high water Is the
prospect for most streams and the
great majority of the flshable lakes
are still out of reaching distance be
cause of the snow.
The northern half of Upper Kla
math lake. Agency lake, Williamson
river, Bprugue river, Crescent lake.
Lake o' the Woods, Odell, Seven
mile and most of the other watirs
III the county and vicinity will be
open.
Some good-sized trout have al
ready been taken from the lower
part of Upper Klamuin and Irom
Klamath river, which have been
open all along, this spring, and the
gume commission has been hauling
legal-sized trout from Its Crooked
creek hatchery for stocking steadily
since January,
Crescent lake has received thou
sands of trout from six to 10 Inches
in length Just this week.

rainbow record. The trout have had
a year to grow since then, so some
body might break the record again
