contribution to the National Girls
Friendly Society mission object for
1948. which is to pay the salary of
a young American woman teacher to
go over to Kunming. China, to teach
English ln a girls college In Kun
ming. The senior girls arranged the tea
table and served the tea and the In
termediate group acted as hostesses
and had charge of the bridge tables
and priies. They also decorated the
parish hail and made the tallies and
decorations carrying out the Chinese
theme throughout with gay Chinese
lanterns and flowers. Many ol the
girls were In Chinese costumes.

Keystone Club
The Keystone club met In the
Methodist church Wednesday eve
ning of last week with the president,
Garry Robertson, opening with a
brief business meeting. Musical
numbers on the accordion were
given by four students of Doris
Fredericks and a short talk. "Amer
ica at the Crossroads," was given
by Phil Hitchcock.
Two musical numbers in costume
were sung by Catherine Blanas and
Wilber Elliott, accompanied by Pa
tricia Hunt. A clever mix-up game
was led by Mark Taylor and prizes
were awarded. Hostesses for the
evening were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce
Binkley, Mr. and Mrs. Loy Barker,
