Legion Conference
TULELAKE A conference of California district No. J. American
Legion and auxiliary will be held April 24 and 25 at Tulelake with
both California and Oregon members invited.
The affair will open Saturday, April 24 with initiation of candi
dates at the Legion hall. 7:30, followed by bingo.

daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orin Reeder of Henley, and Hugh
J. Stapleton. The bride'f grandfather, Judge U. E. Reeder,
read the wedding service at the home of the bride's parents.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Stapleton will be in Klamath Falls
until fall when they will return to studies at the University

Mrs. Steve Moss were the hostesses. Mrs. Moss presided over the short
business meeting. Final arrangements for the home extension luncheon
to be served by the circles during the May festival were made and the
meeting adjourned. Hostess in May will be Mrs. Victor Anderson, and
she will be assisted by Mrs. Sinclair.
Martha circle met at the home of Mrs. F. H. Cofer. and was
assisted by Mrs. John Riach. Twelve attended, Including three new
members, Mrs. Chaney. Mrs. Webb ;
and Mrs. O'Malley. Mrs. Will Wood
was In charge of the devotions, and
Mrs. J. C. Hunt presided over the
business meeting. Mrs. Wesley Mc
Nee was appointed secretary In
place of Mrs. Eldred Putnam who
is leaving Klamath Falls, and gifts
from the general society and from
the circle were presented to Mrs.
John Riach, who also Is moving
away.
After the business meeting was
adjourned. Mrs. Wallace Uerlings,
entertainment chairman for the
afternoon, led several interesting
and amusing games.
Ruth circle was entertained at the

members were present. Devotions
were led by Mrs. Lee McBiide, and
