the foundation of the new Odd Fel
lows hall was started Monday. Lew
Is Kandra, chairman of the build
ing committee, has announced that
the structure will cost between $35,
000 and CIO.OOO.

by 100 foot floor space dimensions.
Included on the first floor will
a large lodge room, smaller
rooms for meetings, dining hall,
kitchen and rest rooms. Regalia
and dressing rooms for both Odd

tricia Wllaon, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. James H. Wilson, of 330 Mc
Kinley, Is In Hillside hospital re
ceiving treatment for a broken Irg.
Patricia waa Injured In a fall dur
ing the noon hour Munday on Con
ger achool playground. Bhf w-lll be
in the hospital for aeveral weeks.
Patricia Is a second grader at Con
ger, and only a year ago suffered
a bad break In the same leg.
Survey Makes
Headway Here
The 18000 economic survey of the
Klamath area being undertaken by
Hahn, Campbell associates of Bur
llngame. Calif.. Is proceeding on
schedule but has not reached the
point of any tangible report, ac
cording to Charles Stark, manager
of the Klamath County chamber
of commerce.
James M. Csmpbell. Junior part
ner of the firm, la doing Uie on-the-ground
work. He plans to
spend several days In the county
at Uie end of each month until
August. The survey Is designed to
take sis months and the result to
give city and county planners a
basts from which to work.
