squelched rumors to the contrary
by announcing he would remain at
Michigan as athletic director.
For more than a week rumors
have persisted that Crisler was on
the verge of leaving his Michigan
athletic post to accept a lucrative
position In Industry.
"My roots are too deep In the

letics to leave my position." Crisler
