reserve program, reviewed 3000 men
at the Lot Alanine naval air sta
tion. "Here we have 2 squadron five
air groups," he said, "The men are
combat trained from Uie last war

carrier training. Also here are patrol
squadrons and transports, fully
qualified to carry out their mis
sions." Whitehead explained Uie naval air
reserve program embraced 233
squadron which could be placed In

from the reserve's present strength
