Berkey'a flag waa raised over his
flagship, the cruiser Topeka, as the
flag of the outgoing support group

Bledsoe, was lowered from the
cruiser Atlanta.
Berkey came to Japan after duty
as commander of the New York
naval base. Bledsoe, whose home Is
In Han Antonio. Tex., will sail March
2 for Han Francisco aboard the
transpu t Thomas Jefferson. He will
take over command of the Brem
erton, Wash., naval base.

of attempting to commit murder waa
on file today against Rnfus N. Ca
vctte. 50-year old Springfield logger
accused of placing dynamite under
his ex-wife's cabin.
The dynamite exploded Thursday,
blowing out the cabin wall and
slightly Injuring the Cavettea 14-year-old
son.
Detectives said Cavette. arrested
Thursday night at Springfield, de
