Woman Dies
BONANZA, Feb. 9 Martha Jane
Nichols, 76, for over SO years a resi
dent of Bonanza, died early Thurs
day nt her home In Portland. Mr.
and Mrs. Nichols moved to Portland
a year ago after selling their ranch
holdings here.
She Is survived by her husband,
Frank, one ion, Lester, both of Port
land, two daughters, Mrs. Ruby
Brown of Bonanza, and Mrn. Artie
Freeze of Portland, nine grandchil
dren and 16 great grandchildren.
Mr, and Mrs. Nichols observed
their 60th wedding anniversary
January 12.
Graveside services will be held at
the Bonanza cemetery Monday al 2

national headquarters of the Dis
abled Veterans In Cincinnati.

cent survey by the DAV which

comperuiation being paid to veterans

earlier estimate the DAV placed the
