of the week from a trek which started before Christmas and took them
to Minnesota. Honda. New Orleans and back to California where they
stopped off for a visit with their son Clark and his family. The Weavers
were Just ahead of all the weather and. a warning, don't mention all
the good weather we had while they were gone. Decorations for the
Mardt Gras were going up all cor New Orleans while the Weavers were
there and they reported resenat.ons difficult even at that lime
Northbound through Klamath Kails last Monday. Barbara Johnson
Nelson and her little one. Genevieve Ann. Barbara will remain with her
parents. Dr. and Mrs. E. D. Johnson of Portland, for the next six weeks
Genevieve is a charmer, looks a great deal like her father. Lt. Stuart
Nelson, who stayed behind in Alameda. The little one was quite over
come by all the snow she saw around the depot.
The Andrew Colliers are hume again alter a month s tup along the
Ea-M coast. They accompanied daughter Carolvn to New York where she
is now enrolled in the school of social service at Columbia university
Carolyn Is living at the Farksidc hotel as is another Klamath girl. Bar
bara Hood, daughter of the A. B. Hoods of Washington street
Mr. and Mrs. Collier, accompanied by Miss Doroihv Collier of
Euueue. also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Dick 11. (Phvllls Collier., and
when they contlnu-d south took a trip from Miami, Florida, arrows to
Cuba for a time.
