cers said, his truth test version cor
roberatcd his previous confessions.

cut Hayton for the slaying of his
second wife, was an Interested lis
tener at the tests.

son county when Hayton led offi
cers to the wooded spot on the shore
of Panther lake, 20 miles southwest
of Bremerton.
Heuston and Prosecutor Bhorett
said last night they were virtually
cerL..n Hayton will be trlr for the
Mason county slaying, rather than
the Seattle death, because the evi
dence of premeditation Is much
stronger In that case.
The Mason county prosecutor said
he "can't say how soon we will file
charges, but I see no need now for
haste." He said he will have Hayton
examined soon by a psychiatrist.

partment said today.
There have been some complaints
that this year's combination of red
numerals on aluminum Is hard to
