week, sewing on already rut gar
ments. The Red Cross reported a prob
lem. There Is on hand a supply of
girls' dresses. In Hie 9 to 13 age

dresses, although of attractive ma
terial, do not appeal to the local
needle women who have said they
much prefer to work on the little
garments of a layette. These relief
garments, however, are badly need
