FAItMH AND HIGH PRICES
MALIN, Ore., (To The Editor)
It seems lo me there Is too much
blame laid on labor for the high cost
of living. As you know most of the
things you buy In grocery store
are grown on a farm.
I have been foreman on a crew
of farm labor through the war and
since the war and I know there has
been no raise In farm wages since
JU42 and I will gladly furnish time
books to prove this.
Why don't Congress lay all the
blame on speculators where It be
longs. My guess Is because they are
afraid of Involving themselves.
Sincerely.
ART DUNCAN.
