days, but as yet has not progressed
to lite point where anyone ran get

The pool may be some years dis
tant, but over a period of time the
plan is or a swimming place, gym
nasium, auditorium and general
recreation center to be built on the
cily-ownrd land near the corner of
Main and Mortimer. The pool would
come first.
At the city hall yesterday after
noon the newly-appointed commu
nity plunge commiaalon composed
of city councllmen, city recreation
committee, a citizens' group and a
delegation representing the Elks '
lodge met and elected John Schu- j
bcrt chairman of the commission. '
