MOST GRAINS SHOW LOSSES
CHICAGO, Jan. 6 OT Grain futures reacted from the day's hmh
en idling ol wheat believed to be hedging against purchase of cash
grain In the Southwest. The selling of small lots became general, and
corn declined with the bread cereal, even though the country offerings
were small. Oats followed the trend of corn.
Soybeans, however, were Independently strong and the March de
livery sold at an all-time high of (4.17.
At the finish wheat was 1 cent to 2 lower than the previous clo.ve,
May I2.92-$2.91 . corn was 1 cent to 2 cents lower. May $2.54 -$2.55.
OAts were 17. higher to S lower. May SlSO's-V Soybeans were 5 to 7
cents higher, March $4.18. 1
