TO THE PUBLIC :
A number of fans and business men have incorporated what is known
as Klamath Baseball, Inc.
Klamath Baseball, Inc., will own and operate a ball club representing
Klamath Falls in the newly organized Far West League composed of:
Medford, Klamath Falls, Redding, Willows, Oroviiie, Marysville, Vallejo,
and Santa Rosa.
This company is incorporated for $100,000.00 with permission to sell
$60,000.00 worth of stock. Money so derived will be used to purchase land,
build stands, purchase equipment and give the firm working capital.
Shares are listed at $25.00 each with no par value.
Although baseball has grown to be big business, it is our belief this ven
ture should be considered more or less a community enterprise. It is some
thing that will be of great benefit to the city as a whole, and therefore,
should be the interest of all citizens and business men.
A contest is now in progress to give the club a nickname. Valuable prizes
will be awarded. Listen to Don Neal's sport program on KFLW or read
Hale Scarbrough's sport page in the Herald & News for details.
Your investigation and participation in this enterprise is worthy of con
