If you were the first and only owner of your real estate,
your title to it might go unquestioned. But joint owner
ship can complicate matters, as the Browns discovered.
When they bought a new home in Oregon, their realtor
ordered a Commonwealth Insured Title,
The court records showed the seller was the sole
heir to his immigrant father's estate. However, the court
records proved faulty. Over a year later seven European .
brothers and sisters of the seller laid claim to the property
as heirs of their father's estate and established their
. claim. Commonwealth assumed the entire loss and paid
them off. The Browns kept their home, thanks to a
Commonwealth Insured Title. Ask your experienced
' realtor, attorney or banker about the many advantages of
a Commonwealth Insured Title,

Seven Mexican uutlouals were
placed In the county Jail lust night
for holding while U. S. Immigration
officers went ahead with a drive to
clear the aliens from this area.
Similar drives in other parts of
the Northwest In the past few
weeks. Most of the Mexicans picked
up came to tills country during the
war as laborers, but disappeared
when It was time for them to go
back.
Five of the seven taken into
custody here last night were railroad
section hands, the other two worked
in a sawmill.
Those held In the county Jail bull
pen today gave their names as:
Remando Ryulas Mitrtmes. 33;
Mendes Candldo Condelurlo. 20:
Martinra Peres, 23: Oundahie Ortts
Alvarado. 23; Donatio Cervantes
Ortlx, 44: Romon Orozco Beccerra.
25. and Jose Perez Valdlva. 28.
In a recent drive in Eastern Ore
gon more than a score of Mexican
nationals were rounded up and
take" to Spokane for deportation.
Some Mexicans who have entered
the country illegally or who have
slipped away from work cam and
are mingling with Mexicans in this
country legally are making the work
of Immigration very difficult.
