For Crowds
With week-end weather forecasts
predicting sunny. skies, Burt atott,
Moore park superintendent, Is pre
paring for crowds of picnickers ex
pected to Jam the park Sunday. Two
large picnics are on the agenda but
remaining apace will be well-filled
by small family groups.
Members of tlie Klnmath County
Pioneer association, Klamath His
torical society and the Schoolmates
club will have their anruial ptcnlo
Sunday. Townsend club members
will also gather at the park for
their picnic.
Stott indicated that park facili
ties have been In constant use this
summer not only by Klamath real
dents but by groups from surround
ing communities. The park Is also
receiving Its share of out-of-town
visitors. Stott counted 13 licenses
from other states, one from Canada
and one from the Hawaiian Islands
at the park last Sunday.
Nebraska Picnic
Slated For Sunday
The annual Southern Oregon
Nebraska picnic la slated for Sun
day, August 10, at Jackson Hot
Bprlngs. The picnic grounds are
north of Ashland on highway No.
M and all Nebraskans and former
Nebraskans and their families will
gather there at 1 p. m.
A musical program has been
planned and there will be a short
business meeting after lunch. Those
attending should bring picnic bas
ket. Coffee, cream and sugar will
be furnished. There will be swim
ming In the hot springs pool-
