CASCADE SUMMIT, July 30 A
atory being told around here Is of
a lake abounding with fish but In
such an lnaccemible location that
flahermen never find the lake even
when looking for It. The lake 1 not
known to have any name except
Hidden lake or Los. lake, given It
by fishermen who have tried to lo
cate It.
The lake Is not far from Diamond
peak and a few have happened to
find themselves suddenly standing
! on the rim of It when wondering
I through the woods. Later when
they have tried to find It to iisn in
It, they have been unable to do ao.
The lake was stocked several years
ago. It Is known to be surrounded
by high rock walls and a dense
growth of timber. A lew years ago
a man was hunting and accidental
ly came upon the lake. He saw
several fish along the shore and
numerous ones Jumping out on the
lake. A week later he took his flsh-

beauty shop, located on Main street,
arross from the Harrisonburg Melh-

Armentroul said the explosion
blew off the roof of the beauty shop
and wrecked the adjacent Rhodes
Jewelry store.
