The hard-hitting, high-scoring
Bears tacked an 8 to 7 victory Satur
day to a 17 to 4 triumph the previous

tional Collegiate association's first
nation-wide championship.

For 15 To 4 Victory
Olven a first Inning unearned run to start with, the Klamath Sons
turned on the basehlt power later In the game yesterday at Recreation
field to decision the Yreka Indians 16 to 4. It waa the second time this
season the Sons have slammed the Indians around. Opening day the
score was 16-7.
The loss wag an unhappy one for Jlmmle West and Joe Derrah,
who went to play for Yreka after being dropped Irom the local nine's
roster. West had some bad breaks behind him but pitched fairly good
ball until the Sons found the range In the third Inning. ,
