killed early Saturday morning in
an auto uccldent near Mill City on
the North Sanllnm highway when
the cur 111 which he was riding
collided with one driven by H. D.
Hudklns of Mill City.
The driver of the Metzger car
was Archie E. Hamlin of Port
land. Mat7er was thrown from the,
car by the Impact, police said. His
body was taken to Slayton pend

ing the rear of the store and It was
their paint and equipment which
was stolen.

The boys later sold the brushes to

proceeds purchnscd a single ticket
to a Klamath theatre. One of the
trio entered with the ticket und let
the other two In by a rear exit. The
boys discovered some candy boxes
behind the stage of the theatre und
took 34 bur out with 'them. Pro
ceeding to another Klamath theutre.

rear door. In an office near the
stage they discovered two wallets,
which they took.
Investigation by police officer re
vealed the three boys were addicted
to prowling downtown alleys und
had on numerous occasions found
wallets, purses und other miscel
laneous Items. These they carried
home. Police recovered muny of the
articles from the boys. The three ure

spent a week's vacation on the Ore

Dale Walker was painfully In
jured Sunday when he roped a calf
at a ranch near here. When he got
the little dogle In the loop on one
end of his rone which was tied hard
and fast to the saddle on the other
end the saddle turned, the horse
started 'bucking and Dale was
dragged and kicked by the horse be

corral before they deserted their

place at the home ranch.
