a broken leg In a recent logging ac
cident at Sprogue River, where he
was employed by the Big Lakes Box
company. King has tne leg In a cast

aid of crutches, but will be laid up
from six to eight weeks at a reaull

Don Wlmrr and Nell Nellson came
home Friday evening from Seven
lakes with part of the camping
equipment used by seven Fort
Klamatn and cmioquin youtns wno
have been al Oraui Lake for the
past two weeks. The two boys left
early Saturday morning on the re
turn trip and the entire party will
come home the samo day. The boys
report rugged weather during their
slay, with plenty of snow still on
the ground and not much grass
for the horses. The party had fine
lurk fishing and the samples
brought home were very good and
exceptionally fine flavored. In spite
of the storms Incurred during their
trip, the group enloyed a good time.

ing a picnic at Moore park, which

Wednesday, June 4, troop 2 had a
meeting to finish the entertainment
plan and write the Invitation to
the parent of the members of troop
2 for their parent' night, which Is
to be held Wednesday, June 11, at
7:30 p.m. In the social room of the
First Presbyterian church at 6th and
Pine. This Wednesday was the last
meeting of troop 2 until fall.
