the largest financial transactions of
the kind In recent months, the
Yukon tavern and cafe was trans
ferred last week to Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Card, well-known Klamath
basin residentx? by the Associated
Taverns, Tulelake.
Mr. and Mrs, Card have been In
business here. In Merrill and In
Medford for many years, operating
first the Palm cafe In Merrill for
eight years, the Victory cafe In
Medford for nearly two and for the
past three years the Tulelake hotel
in co-ownership with Roy Hodges.
Hodges bought the Card Interests.
The Yukon, once operated by
Gloria Johannson some years ago,
has been moved to new quarters
In the Golden hotel In the rooms
formerly occupied by the USO.
