Chill milk until icy cold. Soften gela
tin in cold water. Mix strawberries
with sugar. Blend cbeesa, lemon juice
and sale together. Diuolv gelatin
over boiling water; stir into cheese
nurture. Add berries. Chill until syr
upy. Line an oiled 1 '3-pint mold
with cake strips. Whip chilled milk un
til stiff. Fold into chilled gelatin mix
ture. Put into mold. Chill until firm.
Unmold. Garnish with whole straw
berries if desired. Makes 4 servings.
To usa frozen, sweetened strawber
ries, omit sugar. Thaw berries; add to
cheeso mixture without draining. Cut
up, canned peaches, pineapple or
fruit cocktail can replace strawberries
if you usa 1 cup fruit and lA cup juice.
