Reeve wa brought to Klamath
Falla by the Klamath Ambulance
Service which received the call
shortly after 1 a. nt. Reeves said
the Meerlng gear broke and the
truck, loaded with full milk ran
overturned In a farmer' field bor
tiering the road. Reeve w not
seriously injured but suffered
badly wrenched knee and cut and
bruise. The truck was badly dam

Mr. Catherine Hurtado, about 40.
wo brought from her home at
Chlloquln by the Klamath Ambu
lance Service at 6:30 p. m. Monday,
for treatment of Injuries received
late yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Hurtado luffered a never
cut on the left leg when she 1 said
to have Jumped or fell from a win
dow of her boxcar home.

An automobile I nearly burled
subsided. The flood struck without
a storm sewer.
Two Charged
With Robbery
Hubert Lewi Vawter, 21-year-old
California escaped convict, was
placed In the county Jail this morn
ing on a charge of armed robbery,
and Arthur Ulanchard, 21, also
named In Uie felony complaint with
Vawter, Is still held In the city Jail
temporarily.
They are scheduled to be arraign
ed In Justice court tins afternoon.
Until are accused of holding up a
Mexican, Jesus Jara, Sunday night,
taking a watch, cigarette lighter and
case and some small change, and
are said by police to have admitted
the robbery.
According to sheriff Information
office, Vawlen escaped from a Cali
fornia prison camp February 30,
1948. when arrested here he was
driving a car stolen from Delano,
Calif., a month ago, and also had a
stolen Oregon license plate which
had been altered.
He has recently been married In
Mendln. Nev., giving Ills name a C.
Allen Hudton, one of a half doren
aliases he ha admitted under ques
tioning here.
Both Hlunchsrd and Vawter have
also admitted an armed robbery In
Bend on May t.
