Eyes Veto Policy

Milton Murray, president of the CIO
American Newspaper Guild , an
nounced Saturday that the guild's In
ternational executive board is con-
l siderlng establishing a veto policy
in any strikes called by local guild
units.
The changes In the guild consti
tution, Murray told the American
Society of Newspaper Editors, are
still In the "consideration" stage but
recommendations "along those lines"
definitely will be made to the guild
convention In June In Sioux City,
Iowa.
Murray said the proposal grew
from the suspension of publication
of the Philadelphia Record, follow
ing a guild strike there lost win
ter, and out of other "strike experience."

treatment for an accident which

operating a bulldozer.
The bulldozer ran over both of
