who paaaed away at 2 a. m.
March 17 at Lake Worth, Fla.,
where he had been vacationing

cold bordering ' on pneumonia,

ered from the ailment and had

houra later, having paaaed away
quietly In hla sleep, evidently
from eudden heart attack.
At the time of hla death, Mr.
Dixon waa it yeara old. He waa
a member of a prominent pioneer
Douglae county family, having
been bom and reared in Rose
burg. For many yeara he waa
engaged in rancnlng and cattle
railing In Wood River valley,
with hla brother R. S. "Seth''
Dixon, and waa well known in
the Klamath country, where he
leavea a wide circle of friend
who were aaddoned and allocked
to hear of hla eudden pawing.
