to bed. Later the mother, too,
begun feeling dizzy. She stag
gered out the door of her housing
project home and collapsed.
Rescuers carried the little girl
und dog, almost unconscious, to
the street. Police sold a coal fire,
smouldering and tightly damp
ered, apparently waa to blame.
