five years in league bowling

at 6:45 p. m. The Pelican- Cen
tral Point tilt will be broad
cast over KFLW.

jinx and Oregon State, at the
top of tho northern division Pa
cific coast conference standings,

the team to beat In the confer
ence race.

four by Washington State, gave

over Washington at Pullman last
night. It wos the Huskies' first
loss in 13 games this season, ana

victory In 17 games, defeating
Oregon, 68 to 46, for the

For 1947 Oregon Staters
CORVALLIS, Jan. 18 The
University of Utah and Portland
university will be new features
on the Oregon State college
football agenda for 1947, offi
cial! of OSC announced today,
completing a slate of nine games.
Oregon State will travel to
Salt Lake City for the first game
of the season on September 27.
That contest will be an attrac
tion of Utah's centennial cele
bration. Portland U will be a guest at
Corvallis on October 25.
Two games are slated for Bell
field in Corvallis, and the Bea
vers have only one contest on
Multnomah field in Portland
that with the UCLA Bruins. The
Oregon-Oregon State game will
be played in Eugene.
