Office Opens
MEDFORD, Dec. 12 (WNS)
Establishment of a secondary
office for the Shasta-Cascade
Wonderland aaaoclatlon in Med
ford, has been announced this
week by Arthur H. Flckert, pres
ident of the association.
Branch offices will be located
in the Jackson County chamber
of commerce building under the
management of Dean Pieper,
public relation director.
Fickert said the association's
expansion was in line with its
1047 program to provide a closer
coordination of Joint ' southern
Oregon-northern California ac
tivities along the lines of high
way development and tourist
promotion.
He said also, that representa
tives of the aaaoclatlon would be
in Klamath Fa 11a within a short
time to confer with Klamath
County chamber of commerce
officials and civic leaders on
plans to stimulate travel in the
Wonderland area.
Time and place of the meeting
will be announced as soon as
final plans have been completed,
he said.
