Logging Work Under Way

called the Yawkey State Forest,

Wood river being set aside by
the forestry department unci
called the Kimball Recreation
area. Thla area will be developed
as a picnic und camp aite, with
fireplaces, tallies and benches
being placed for the convenience
of the public. Work on the Kim
ball tract may start some time
this fall.
The Yawkey tract was pur
chased by bonding through the
state for $21,000 In 1U43. At the
time of the purchase the yellow
unci ponderosa pine had been
