pensation commission were re
duced 44.7 per cent In July to
reach the lowest monthly ralo
since last November.
Compensation officials attrib
uted the decrease to the preva
lent seasonal work throughout
the stale. Total payments fur
July were $831,104.

ment allowances for veteran
dropped 23.3 per cent to $502.14 1
