Advice Given

of strawberries, can be fresh
frozen without sugar, according
to Mrs. Winnifrcd K. Glllcn,
home demonstration agent.

lightly with augar just before
they are aerved, and served Just

If the homemaker prefer to

that not more than one-fourth
cup should be used per pint. In
fixing raspberries, puck the
berries In layers, sprinkling a
little sugar between each layer.
When the container Is filled and
scaled it should be turned around
several times so that berries will
be coated.
Strawberries, though they can
be frozen without augar, Mrs.
Gillen reports that berries are
more successful if sugar Is used.

storekeepers school and expects
to be assigned to that school on

Lay, who enlisted in the navy

is now stationed at the destroyer
base in San Diego. His wife and
daughter live at 2429 Orchard.
