Church Ceremony
Read Saturday
St. Paul's Episcopal church was the scone of the wedding of
Miry Abigail Jane Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis
Dodge Brown of Upper Klamat'i lake, to "F" "J" Danforth, son
of George A. Danforth of Warrensburg, Mo. The ceremony was
read by the Rev. Frederick C. Wissenbach at 7:30, Saturday,
June 2D
The church was decorated with palms and baskets of blue and
white delphinium. .
The bride, given In marriage by her father, wore a gown of
traditional white slipper satin with net insert at the sleeves
and neckline. Her long veil was
held in place by a tiara or seed
pearls and orange blossoms. i
For jewelry she wore a long '
strand of pearls belonging to her ,
mother. Her arm bouquet was ;
of pink roses and white sweet i
peas,
The bride's only attendant
was Nancy Lu Ramsey, who
wore a dress of white net and
velvet. She carried pink carna
tions. Best man was Daniel Gilbert
Brown, brother of the bride, and
ushers were Robert Taylor and
George Smith.
Mrs. Brown, mother of the
bride, chose a formal gown of
aqua with brown accessories for
her daughter's wedding. Her
shoulder corsage was of pink
and fuchsia roses.
Wedding music was played by
Mrs. Samuel A. Mushen, and
Mrs. Vernon Kuykendall sang
"Panis Angclicus."
A reception followed the
ceremony at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. H. V. Laux of 119
Washington. Red roses and ivory
tapers were used about the.
table. After the 'bride and home with them They formerly

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Carlson of
Los Angeles. The young couple
is at home at 2201 Orchard.
The bride, after attending
Klamath Union high school, was
a student at Oregon State col
lege. Mr. Danforth was for
merly stationed at the Marine
Barracks and received his dis
charge last February.

her husband on his birthday,
Sunday, July 7, with a surprise

Dr. and Mrs. Peter Rozendal
and their sons, Robert, 10, and
Paul, five, left today for their
new home in Corvallis.
The Rozendals plan to live In
Corvallis. where he is going into
private practice. He has been
practicing in Corvallis for two
months while Mrs. Rozendal and
their children remained here.
Dr. Rozendal resigned his po
sition as public health officer
here before going to Corvallis.
Driving to the northern city
with the Rozendals is Mrs. Roz
endal's aunt. Mrs. Elizabeth
Schroeder, who will make her

TULELAKE The Guild of
the Tulelake Community Pres
byterian church is providing
clothing and some food for four
European families, one each in
Italy and Denmark and two in
France. Names, ages and sizes
of members of each family have
been obtained and the boxes of
provisions are sent direct by
some member of the guild to
make the gift more personal.
Several children have also been
"adopted" by the social educa
tion and action committee of
the guild and these receive a
certain sum of money each
month for their care.
Clothing may be left at the
church or manse at any time
and it should be clean and
mended.
The next meeting of the
guild is planned for August 7

groom's parents.

Donald Schreiner.
The bridegroom, a member of
the regular navy, left on July 4
for Treasure Island where he is
stationed.
