Stolen Truck

The Chevrolet pickup truck
which was stolen from Chemult
Saturday morning was located
yesterday parked on the hill
back of Moore park and River
side school, still in running con
dition but with the brakes worn
out.
This truck was owned by
Leonard Franklin of Chemult,
and was believed stolen by
James Sllvcrla, 18, army
prisoner who escaped from a
nouthbound train at Crescent
Lake early Saturday.
Sllverla was seen Saturday
in Chemult and shortly after
ward the truck was reported
stolen. He was an army man
being taken to a pout in Cali
fornia to answer A WOL charges.
