we have indicated that we are
prepared to permit at least 171
I million feet of fir logs, exclus-
ive of high grade peelers, and
J 321 million feet of hemlock and
I balsam logs, exclusive of high
grade logs, to go to the United
States from Crown Grant lands
in Canada during the year 1946.

crashed into the quartermaster
