at the Masonic temple Thursday evening, June 20. at 8 o'clock,

from St. Helens where they at
tended the wedding of their
grandson, James Melvin Snyder,
formerly of Klamath Falls, to
Trilla J. Cox of Indianapolis,
Ind.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Cox of
Indiana, and Mr. Snyder is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sny
der, for manv years residents of
Klamath Falls. The wedding
was held in the First Christian
church of St. Helens on June
15, 4 o'clock in the afternoon,
and the Rev. R. M. Hollister.
uncle of the groom, read the
ceremony. Baskets of roses were
placed about the church. The
bride wore a white suit with
a bouquet of white rosebuds.
She was attended by Betty Lou
Swarthout. The best man was
Don Raimey of Scappoose and
the ushers were Tom and Jerry
Snyder, twin brothers of the
groom.
About thirty guests attended
the wedding and the reception
which was held after the cere
mony at the home of the groom,
and at which Mrs. Frank Sny
der was the hostess. Mrs. M.
L. Miller, the groom's grand
mother, poured and Mrs. J. K.
Robertson of Eugene and Mrs.
Lois Swisher of Myrtle Creek
assisted.
For going away the bride
chose a brown sports ensemble.
They left following the recep
tion for Seaside and other
coastal points. On their return
they will live at St. Helens.
