Mystery Solved
SEATTLE, May 8 l') The
mystery man who lived and
died in a barrel on a Seattle
ZurbaKo dump was identified
through fingerprints yesterday
as Mike Cobb, 50, alias M. M.

The coroner' office report
showed he had served time in
South Dakota, Nebraska and
Montana prisons.
Habitues of the dump knew
him only a the "old man who
lived in a barrel" and said he
had survived for some years on

by. He was found dead April 17.

PORTLAND, May 8 (P) A
25-year-old man, shot last night
at the rear of a home where a
party was underway, was being
questioned today by police
hunting a party burglar.

The man, Arnold Wayne
Pitts, shot by a police patrol

from a ladder behind the
house, was booked on a charge

urday, judging In a national con
test there.
Over 2000 student are entered

tana and Wyoming. Loney will
return Tuesday.
Loney recently returned from
Eugene where his local Klamath
Union high school students were
entered in national competition
in the Eugene music festival.
