Kichendorf, owner of the ve
hicle. Walker was walking down the
rixht-of-way adjacent to the
tracks when the wreck occurred, i

see the locomotive also ap
proaching the crossing and
when the truck hit the locomo
tive it careened off and hit him.
Walker said that he received
several fractured ribs, lacera
tions on his chest and mouth and
that some of his teeth were
broken off. U. S. Balcntine is
representing Walker.

State police reported the air
plane, flying out of Corvallls
and piloted by an instructor of

and an OSC student, was forced
to land in a nearby field but
