invited. This is the first of three
recitals.

Holds Initiation

Delta Phi, Southern Oregon col
lege honorary scholastic frater
nity held its regular semester
initiation this past Wednesday,
April 17, at which time 17 new
members were taken into the or
ganization. This is the largest
group of students to be admitted
to the fraternity in recent years.
After the initiatory ceremon
ies, the fraternity held a banquet
at the Lithia hotel where Dr. Ar
thur S. Taylor, national presi
dent of the fraternity and Dr.
Wayne W. Wells, faculty adviser
for the local chapter were intro
duced to the new members and
spoke briefly.
Among the new members

arwin Wissenback and Erwin
Wissenback, all of Klamath
Tails.

Tulelake Couple
Married In Reno
TULELAKE, April 24 An
nouncement was made this week
of the marriage in Reno, April
1 1 of Mrs. Gladys Ganger. Tule
lake to Walter Olchawa, also of
Tulelake. The service was read
in the First Baptist church in
Reno.
They were attended by Mary
L,aine, bpokane, and Harold
Craddock, Biggs, Calif., who
were also In Reno to be married
Mr. Craddock is a nephew of
Mrs. M. n. L.aira, Tulelake.
The new Mrs. Olchawa has
made her home here on a ranch
on the east side for many years
where the couple will reside.
The groom once stationed at
Camp Tulelake with the 752nd
escort guard has recently been
discharged from the service.
