Nylon Sales
Persons who stand in long
lines to buy nylon hosiery, pre
sumably for their own personal
use, but who then turn around
and offer to sell the hose to
"friends" at higher than ceiling
prices, put themselves in a "deal
er" category and are governed
by OPA price regulntions on

OPA district price attorney, an
nounced Friday.
Sharp said that tho OPA has
received numerous complaints
from housewives and others in
various parts of the stale who
report that they have been np
prouched by Individuals who
bought nylon hose at local stores
and "want to profiteer" on sales
to other individuals.

phasized that when a person
buys such hose at retail for the
purpose of resale, ho himself
thereupon becomes a dealer sub
ject to the same prico control
regulations and maximum prices
as the store from which ho made
the purchase, and subject to
heavy penalties for violations.
