20 (A') Joseph Miszcn, 27, of
Palmer, up Matanuska way, had
a bad day yesterday.
Ho was In a car, bringing Dor
othy Hoaldt, 25, and Nathan
Smith, 20, to Anchorage for their
wedding ceremony, when the
machine crashed through a
bridge railing into an icy
stream, sending him and the
couplo to the hospital.
And Just a few hours earlier,
Miszen's house had burned down.

Claimed By Death
Mrs. L, O. Williams, former
resident of Klamath Falls and
mother of C. E. Logerwell of this
city, died Sunday in the Baptist
home for the aged In Portland,
friends here have learned.
Mrs. Williams resided here
with her son until September,
1045, when she entered the
home. She was a member of the
Immanucl Baptist church of this
city. Funeral services will be
held at the Baptist home, 2545
S. E. Flanders, Wednesday at 2
p. m.
