latter and their families, from
Hi-Hut, Ky. Also Diamond New
man and family from Vancou
ver, Wash., have been here vis
iting relatives since Christmas
off and on. He plans to move
over on the West Side soon
where he has recently purchased
a farm.
Mr. und Mrs. Marlon Andrews
of Burns, Ore,, visited a few
days the first of the week with
Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Lightle and
fumlly. Mr. Andrews, a brother
to Mrs. Lightle, was a former
resident of New Pino Creek
about two years ago. After liv
ing here u short time tho family
moved to Lukcvlew where An
drews took a Job with the coun
ty. About a year ago he pur
chased a saw mill near Burns,
which he has Just lately sold.
They will return to Burns for
tho present but in the spring plan
to go to Texas for a time to visit
relatives.
Ed Bencflel and fumlly were
motored to Ft. Bldwell last Sat
urday to attend the funeral of
Billie Stroeder, un aged miner,
wiio was a former owner of the
Klondike mine now owned by
Bencfiel.
The sewing club met at the
home of Mrs. Allie Hummersley
lust Wednesday. Old clothes
were remodeled and re-designed
to look like new. Not a bad Idea
