A $1:10,000,000 reclamation bu
reau construction program for
the fiscal year beginning July 1
was proposed In the president's
budget message to congress
Monday.
The total amount asked for the
bureau is $103,594,055, funds ap
propriated for the bureau for the
1040 fiscal year totaled only
$116,810,150.
The fiscal 1947 program con
templates construction work on
more than a score of subjects,
the greatest number of which
were closed down during the war
emergency.
